I'm another year older

Hey. Thanks to kakis who met up last thurs for dinner at UEsquare.
Guat, Candice, Michael, Xuehui, Bernard, Eric, Faith, Booboo, Amanda, Yap, me and Hubby.
And thanks to Booboo who arranged the 'surprise party'.
Bernard and I shared a birthday cake, as our bdays are 2 days apart.
They got me card game "Bohanza" for my pressie. So sweet of them. hehee
think we got kinda of addicted to the game after Candice introduced us to it at Batam.

Oh. Met up with Jess and Wayne last wed as well. 3 july babies gathered for dinner at Rice table. Nice to meet up with them after such a long time...errr 3 months? Amazing thing called friendship, thought we have not met up for such a long time, we talked as if there is no gap between us. No stranger feelings at all. Next meetup soon okie?

Just got back from a trip to HK.
The trip started off with the airport transfer bus breaking down in the middle of the expressway. We wasted an hour waiting for a 'rescue bus'. What luck! We stayed at Park Hotel which chris recommended. Nice location, nice room, nice staff, only 1 complaint: the 2 lifts are really slow~
2nd day, we went for a half day tour to temple, arberdeen, wax museum. Took a few pictures, will upload them later. Its shopping eating shopping eating. Actually.. hmmm not so much on shopping, but window shopping. I dont find the sales items that attractive. The clothes are at prices of HK$180 (which is nearly S$40). That certainly aint a good bargain to me. The branded items may be at 50% discount. But even after the discount, i still find the prices steep. Did buy quite alot of clothings at Espirit Outlet (warehouse) though, a pair of Tough Jeans and a pair of Nike sneakers.
Prefer shopping at Bangkok, where things are so much cheaper. Cheap shoes, cheap clothes, cheap lingerie, cheap cheap cheap. Food wise, i will prefer eating in HK. Yummy wanton mee (dry version: find it a bit salty, prefer their soup version), BBQ goose and iced milk tea.

Next holiday, i will opt for a relaxing place, where we shall rot by the beach or swimming pool. No more city destinations for me. End up with sore legs after all the walking walking walking. had to raise my legs to relief them.

Aiyoh. dunno whats wrong with my hp. Somehow it refused to switch on on my last day in HK. Shall upload the photos using hub's phone later tonight. Now using my old V3. Shall send my hp for repairs tomorrow. Sighz

Oh. Finally thanks to all friends who have SMSed their birthday wishes for me. Didnt reply cos i dont want to spend money on international calls lah... stingy me. hehee
