Oh what a trip!

Having fantastic company at a fantastic place. Makes it a FANTASTIC TRIP!!!
Guat, Candice, Boo and I went over to Shanghai to look for ah bear. And boy we had lots and lots and lots and lots of FUN! And add in lots of Laughter too....

Yummy food to fill our tummys.  Great recommendations from ah bear.  Dimsum for brunch (their xiao long bao is simply great, i want more!), porridge from any restaurant taste better than what we eat in sg, supper at XinWang, steamboat where you can get the waitress to cook for you,  Spicy Sichuan food, Cold Shanghai food (Which JoeJoe treated us on our last nite in shanghai), Yummy claypot dishes, tasty dong fen, Al fresco western brunch at Yuan Zhi Fang (arty farty area). This is making me hungry.... Must not forget the 'Maybe the best egg tart in shanghai'  Lilian egg tarts.
Only yucky and expensive food was at BundView, cos we were too lazy to walk further. Gheez

And where can you find a waiter to attend to your table thru out the night when clubbing? So shiok. But it does get a bit irritating when he/she goes pouring the alcohol into your glass everytime it gets empty.

A lazy nite at Vue Bar Hyatt provided stunning views of the night skyline. Their wine sucks though.

Shirt tailoring at the fabric market.  Average about S$25 for each tailored shirt. Did 4 for 1st order, 2 more which Boo will help me bring back. My favourite buy is a customized cashmere trenchcoat which cost me about S$100. Cheap hor. Dunno when will i have to chance to wear it though. Have to thank kakis for their great bargaining skills, which i am really lousy at. Scarfs, a new pair of specs, hmm think thats about it for my shopping bag.

Cabs... Another thing that i am lousy at. Candice and Guat are able to spot a potential cab and run after it. Boo has a fantastic memory with the road names. You have to remember the names of 2 roads, and i am lost... How much it costs for a cab ride? 11rmb to start off, average to 15rmb per trip and that is less than S$5. so cheap!!!!

Tired after a day of walking? Massage Massage Massage.
Best was the hot towel massage. Great for a cold winter day. My masseur was terrified that she will break my bones if she were to step on my back. But somehow i survived. Dunno why i always get the chatty masseur and NO i am not that willing to chat with you!
Oh....more yummy free food after the massage. Zha Jiang Mian, Dumpling soup, Bo Luo Bao....

Gheez... kakis....Lets go have fun again!
Thanks to candice who decided to have her hen's week in Shanghai
