Pink Red Blue

First stalk of flower for the nite, a rose soft toy that hub presented to me in the car. Cute hor. Hub insisted that the photo will look better with a teddy bear with the rose.

Hubby and I went for our anniversary dinner at Dozo. Their concept is similiar to Tao, where you choose a dish from a list for each course. Pity the main room was booked for a solemnization party for hub mentioned the atmosphere will be much better.

Trying to recalll all 7 dishes. 1. was a tiny plate which consist of 1 baked scallop, sliced salmon and errr dunno what the last tiny bite was. 2. Crab claw salad 3.Chawanmushi with truffle 4.Mushroom soup 5.Beef tenderloin on hot plate 6.Choc lava cake (yummy) and lastly 7.Ice rose honey tea.

The beef hotplate was presented in a rather unique set up. Pity i didnt take a pic of it. But imagine a big black plate with a flat rock in the mid resting ontop of pebbles. And the beef cooking on a piece of leaf that was placed on the hot flat rock.

Surprised by a big bouquet of flowers (thanks hubby, hugs hugs) and the waiter appeared with a tiny cake for our anniversary. Didnt have a dig cam, but the iphone photos came out better than expected.
More pics of the bouquet :) 4 red roses to represent each year. Love the blue and red/white flowers that accompanied. Wonder what their names are....?

Oh, last weekend hub and I went to Far East Flora to find more 'victims' to decorate our corridor. Sad to say, i didnt inherit any of the green fingers from mum. And i have killed several pots, even though they had water guage to help me. This time, i decided to buy flowery pots that were on sale. No more nice expensive ones, till i can figure out how to make them last a longer time. Bought a rack that i can hook onto the corridor railing on the previous trip, hopefully with better sun exposure the plants will remain healthy.

Aint the pink flowers pretty? Hopefully i will be able to say the same sentence a month later. haha. The last pot (same species) i grew a year ago had purple flowers and a month later i had to bring them to the shop so that my mum can perform 'emergency treatment' on them. opppss....
