My bad tooth before my extracted wisdom tooth gave way on saturday. Well, more than half of the tooth was fillings. Was written as a tooth fracture caused by removal of wisdom tooth in the note to the endodontist.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Endodontics, from the Greek endo (inside) and odons (tooth), is a specialist sub-field of dentistry that deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. The pulp (containing nerves, arterioles and venules as well as lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) can become diseased or injured, and is often unable to repair itself; if it dies, endodontic treatment is required.
While eating some chinese biscuits, i felt some 'stones' in my mouth. Removed it and didnt think much of it. Then when my tongue licked the tooth, it felt funny. Then i looked into the mirror. Argh! Half of my tooth was missing. All i see is half a tooth and lots of metal fillings. Then later in the night, another 1/4 dropped off.
Had to visit my dentist again. He removed what ever tooth was left standing, and the fillings. Put a molar band on my tooth. Now i have to visit a consultant endodontist regarding root canal treatment before decisions can be made for the crown.
An appointment set on the 20th at Lucky Plaza. So troublesome and OMG its all $$$.
