No Ponyo

After months of not watching a movie together, Kakis decided to meet up last nite to watch the japanese cartoon Ponyo. We have been discussing about it last sunday after dinner. Thus on wed i sent an email out and bought the tickets online on thurs.

9 of us gathered and happily entered the cinema. Watched 10 mins of ads. And guess what...
A staff came in to tell us, due to technical faults, the cinema will have to shut down in 10 mins. and we are to get our refunds from the box office.
So sad....

Managed to get back the ticket price, but the $1 booking fee is not refundable as according to staff, it is cost charged by the credit card company. I can call up the GV customer service to complain about it balh ablha blah.
But what about the parking fee for our cars???
So disappointed that we didnt get to watch it after much anticipation.... Sighz..

We then went to the kopitiam under candice's block to play a new card game. We are hooked... games tonite kakis? hehee
