Ponyo Part 2

Refusing to give up, Kakis met up on Sunday again to watch Ponyo. Sad to say, the movie was not that fantastic. Though i have only watched 2 of his previous movies, Spirited Away and Howles Moving Castle, Ponyo is simply boring. Almost froze in the cold theatre. 

Btw saw an article in 8 days which maybe useful to us in the coming CNY :)

Things to say when Lo-Hei-Ing 

What does Yu-Sheng means? Its Abundance of wealth and Long life.

1. When fish is placed on table, great by saying 'Gong xi fa cai' and 'wan shi ru yi'. (wishing all prosperity and may all you wishes be fulfilled)
   
2. Add raw fish and say "nian nian you yu'. (wishing you all abundance in the new year)
3. Gesture towards fish roe and say 'da ji da li' (wishing all lots of luck and good fortune) before spreading it over
4. Point to lettuce and cabbage and say 'Hong yun dang tou' and 'qing chun mei li' (Wishes eternal youth and beauty)
5. Point to shredded carrot and white radish and say 'feng sheng shui qi' and 'bu bu gao sheng' (prosperity and promotion in biz)
6. Add the seseme seeds and peanuts and say 'jin yin man wu' (means gold and silver fill your house)
7. Scatter the crunchy golden crackers ad say 'pian di huang jin' (means floor will be filled with gold)
8. Pour the oil and sauce, circling them over the platter to increase wealth from all directions. Say 'Yi ben wan li' and 'cai yuan guang jin'. Start Tossing!
